If you read the book, "Fifty Classic Climbs of North America" you would notice that Rocky Mountain National Park has its share of Americas great climbs!
The North Face of Hallets Peak is covered with incredible mid to upper fifth class free climbs. The Petit Grepon, Sharkstooth, Notchtop, and Spearhead are all spectacular spires loaded with exposure and great unbelievable climbing. The Flying Buttress on Meeker, Blitzen Ridge on Mt. Ypsilon, and Arrowhead Ridge on McHenry's are all out of the way classics.

And then to top it all off is the famous East Face of Longs Peak! Keiners, Alexander's Chimney, Stettner's Ledges, Zumies Thumb and the grand climb of them all, "The Diamond".
These are big climbs and long days, however, if you are going to be here you should not miss the opportunity to climb one of these mountain giants.
Ranging from low to extreme fifth class, these are the ultimate in climbing adventures. Give yourself at least one day to climb a true American Classic; climb a Technical Mountain Spire!

We do not have the permits from the National Park Service to "Guide" clients for a fee in Rocky Mountain National Park at this time.... contact SMS for details. It might take us a while to make some new Friends before we are allowed to "Guide" clients for a fee in RMNP.... We have climbed in RMNP for 25 years and can certainly answer your questions about this magnificent area if you are interested in going on your own without a professional "Guide".
