The North Face is the perfect, exciting, challenging and very climbable blend. Not only is the North Face route the most direct and shortest route, it is without crowds like the Keyhole route and is absolutely spectacular.
Above the Boulderfield at Chasm View, the entire East Face is carved out directly in front of you. In fact, you will be able to practically touch the Diamond while standing at Chasm View.
Above Chasm View, fun yet moderate climbing goes up where the old cable now adds a nice level of challenge while preserving the pristine beauty and quality of the North Face climb. It is just hard enough to need a rope, yet easy enough for almost anyone to climb.
COST: In the tradition of one of the "Great Spirits" Enos_Mills - founder of Rocky Mountatin National Park; We are moving toward offering this course Free as a contribution to society from the Sangre de Cristo Mountaineering School as resources allow. This course is not available at this time...
